Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement (Without Fuel Cap)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
2. Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement 

Procedure

1. Using a flat-bladed tool that fits into the 4 depressions, break through the 4 depressions with light pressure and then pry the clips free to release the fuel tank filler pipe housing from the body side outer panel.
2. Disconnect the fuel tank filler drain pipe.
3. The fuel tank filler pipe housing once removed cannot be reused and must be replaced with a NEW fuel tank filler pipe housing.

Procedure

1. Connect the fuel tank filler drain pipe.
2. Position the fuel tank filler pipe housing to the body side outer panel and the fuel filler pipe.
3. Press the fuel tank filler pipe housing to the body side outer panel until fully seated.
4. Ensure the fuel tank filler pipe housing seal is full seated to the filler pipe.
