Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
- Exhaust Front Pipe - Remove - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG AWD) , or Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG FWD)
- Propeller Shaft - Remove - Propeller Shaft Replacement
- Transmission Front Mount - Remove - Transmission Front Mount Replacement
- Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Replacement
- Front Compartment Air Deflector - Remove - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement
Remove and DISCARD the 2 transmission rear mount bolts (1).
Loosen the transmission rear mount through bolt (1).
- Push the engine/transmission unit far enough forward to get space for the removal of the transmission rear mount through bolt.
Remove the transmission rear mount through bolt (1).
- Transmission Rear Mount (2) - Remove
- Release the engine/transmission unit to bring it into original position.
NOTE:
A second technician is required.
