Installation Procedure

Control Valve Body Cover Gasket - Install NEW
- Control Valve Body Cover (1) - Install
- Control Valve Body Cover Bolt (3) - Install and hand tighten [6x]
- Control Valve Body Cover Stud (2) - Install and hand tighten [6x]

NOTE:Tighten in the sequence shown.
Control Valve Body Cover Stud (1) & Control Valve Body Cover Bolt (2) - Tighten in sequence [12x] 11 N.m (97 lb in)
- Transmission Control Module Bracket - Install - Transmission Control Module Bracket Replacement
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe @ Transmission - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement (9T50/9T60)
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe @ Transmission - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (9T50/9T60)
Battery Negative Cable (1) - Reposition
- Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Wiring Harness (4) - Reposition
- Wiring Harness Retainer (3) @ Transmission Control Module Bracket - Install
- Electrical Connector (2) @ Transmission - Connect
- Electrical Connector (1) @ Transmission Control Module - Connect
Wiring Harness (5) - Reposition
- Wiring Harness Retainer (6) @ Control Valve Body Cover Stud - Install
- Wiring Harness Retainer (4) @ Transmission Control Module Bracket - Install
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Transmission Case - Install
- Electrical Connector (3) @ Engine Coolant Fan - Connect
- Input Speed Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
- Battery Tray - Install - Battery Tray Replacement
- Transmission Fluid - Fill - Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill
- Check for leaks.
