Removal Procedure

  1. Oil Pan - Remove - Oil Pan Replacement (AWD)

    NOTE:

    Engine front cover not shown for clarity.

    Using a suitable wrench to hold the oil pump sprocket (2), remove the oil pump sprocket bolt (1).

  3. Remove the oil pump sprocket (2) from the oil pump drive shaft leaving the oil pump timing chain (4) on the crankshaft sprocket.
  4. Clean and inspect all of the oil pump drive components.
