Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation

Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the rear center seat belt from the mini buckle.
1	Rear Seat Cushion Procedure Insert a 457 mm (18 in) pry bar next to the inboard side of each wire loop and push down, using the floor as leverage, to disengage the retainers. Pull up on the front of the seat cushion and disconnect electrical connectors, if equipped. Lift the rear seat cushion out of the vehicle. Inspect each high retention retainer and sheet metal interface for flushness. Replace retainer as required if damage occurs during removal. When installing new plastic retainers on the front of the seat, ONLY seat the retainer to the first click, otherwise the insertion force into the sheet metal will be greatly increased.
