Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Perform the SPS prepare heater and air conditioning remote control module for removal procedure. Control Module References
  2. Remove the radio control assembly. Radio Control Assembly Replacement
NOTE:

If the vehicle battery has NOT been disconnected, when reinstalling, replacing or reconnecting the HVAC remote control module, the BROWN J2 connector must be connected last. Once all the parts are all in place, check and clear all DTCs in the HVAC module.
1 Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control

Procedures

  1. Disconnect the heater and air conditioning remote control electrical connectors.
  2. Un-clip the heater and air conditioning remote control from the instrument panel carrier.
  3. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure:Control Module References
  4. Clear the DTCs from the heater and air conditioning remote control module.
  5. Perform the actuator calibration procedure. Actuator Recalibration
