Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Loosen the evaporative emission canister purge tube from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Loosen the evaporative emission tube from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve bolt (2) and the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1).
