Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1) and the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve bolt (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  2. Install the evaporative emission tube to the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Install the evaporative emission canister purge tube to the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
