Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Assemble the EN-28467-B
Universal Engine Support Fixture as shown.
- EN-28467-301 Engine Support Fixture Adapter Legs (1)
- J-28467-1A Cross Bracket Assembly (2)
- J-28467-2A Radiator Shelf Bar (3)
- J-28467-518 Vehicle Cross Bar (4)
- J-28467-4A Front Support (5)
- J-28467-7A Straight Lift Hook (6)
NOTE:Two included in EN-38467-300.
NOTE:Adjust the length of the front support as needed.
- With the aid of an assistant, place the engine support fixture across the engine compartment ensuring that the fixture contacts the points indicated by arrows (right side).
- Ensure that the engine support fixture adapter leg contacts the body at the point indicated by the arrow (left side).
- Assemble the J-28467-4A Front Support (1), J-28467-2A Radiator Shelf Bar (2) and J-28467-8A Swivel Lift Hook (3) as shown.
- Install the front support (1), radiator shelf bar (2) and swivel lift hook (3) across the vehicle cross bar (4).
- Ensure that the front support is properly positioned as indicated by the arrow.
- Install the J-28467-1A Cross Bracket Assembly U bolt (1), bracket (2) and hand tighten the wing nuts (3).
- Ensure that the engine support fixture contact points are properly set prior to tightening the lift hooks.
NOTE:
Be sure to adhere to all safety guidelines supplied with all tools listed

It will be necessary to use the J-28467-4A Front Support (5) as a lifting point or support it to prevent it from sliding out of the J-28467-2A Radiator Shelf Bar (3).
