Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the water pump and balance shaft chain tensioner. Refer to Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Tensioner Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Balancer Chain Guide & Bolts - Lower

  2. Remove the 2 balancer chain guide bolts (2) and the balancer chain guide (1).
