Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the balancer chain guide (1) and the balancer chain guide bolt (2) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  2. Install the water pump and balance shaft chain tensioner. Refer to Water Pump and Balance Shaft Chain Tensioner Replacement .
