Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement . Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Hose Replacement (Turbocharger) . Disconnect the transmission pipe from the radiator and transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection . Note the routing of the transmission pipe to ensure proper installation. Remove the transmission pipe from the clips securing the line to the transmission and inlet pipe.
1	Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Sealing Washer Procedure DISCARD the sealing washer and use NEW only.
3	Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Procedure Fill and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
