Preliminary Procedures Remove the right front wheel drive shaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side .
1	Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft Bearing Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft and Bracket Assembly Procedure For vehicles equipped with F40 transmission, drain and collect the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill . The DT-6332 protector must be installed into the differential output shaft seal prior removal and installation of the intermediate shaft. For vehicles equipped with F40 transmission, refill the transmission with the collected transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill . Special Tools DT-6332 Seal Protector For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft and Bracket Assembly

Procedure

For vehicles equipped with F40 transmission, drain and collect the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
The DT-6332 protector must be installed into the differential output shaft seal prior removal and installation of the intermediate shaft.
For vehicles equipped with F40 transmission, refill the transmission with the collected transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
