- Ignition voltage must be greater than 10V.
- Drive motor control and hybrid powertrain control module are awake.

- Vehicle speed is greater than 5 km/h (3 mph).
- Transmission is not in Park.
- Accelerator pedal position less than 5 percent.
- DTCs P0722, P0723, P077C, P077D, U0101, U0073, P182E, P1915, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128 or P2138 not set.
