Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Position clutch disc and clutch pressure plate to flywheel.
- Center clutch pressure plate and clutch disc with DT-50194 Clutch Disc Alignment Tool (1).
- Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts in the sequence shown, starting with the number one and following in numerical order.
Tighten
- Tighten the clutch pressure plate - fastener M7 to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Tighten the clutch pressure plate - fastener M8 to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
NOTE:
Lettering "transmission side" faces the transmission.
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
NOTE:
Use NEW clutch pressure plate bolts in order to maintain proper torque. Apply red LOCTITE 242 to the threads to make certain the bolts do not come loose.
