Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Remove the evaporative emission front pipe. Refer to Evaporative Emission Front Pipe Replacement (LTG)  .
    2. Fig 1: Evaporative Emission Pipe And Retainers

  2. Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  4. Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe (2) from the evaporative emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe retainers (1).
  6. Remove the evaporative emission pipe (2) from the vehicle.
