Preliminary Procedure Lower the fuel tank enough to allow evaporative emission canister removal. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) .
1	Evaporative Emission Canister Retaining Tab Procedure Depress the retaining tab in order to release the evaporative emission canister from the fuel tank.
2	Evaporative Emission Canister Procedure Release the evaporative emission vent pipe from the evaporative emission canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service . Release the evaporative emission canister purge pipe from the evaporative emission canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service . Disconnect the evaporative emission canister solenoid wiring harness.

Disconnect the evaporative emission canister solenoid wiring harness.
