Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the brake boost pump inlet hose from the charge air cooler outlet air tube.

    NOTE:

    Rotate the locking ring counterclockwise until it stops and hold in position while disengaging the connector.

  2. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (1) from the throttle body.

  3. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube bolt (1) from the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2).

  4. Pull the release clip (1) outward and disconnect the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the charge air cooler.
  5. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the vehicle.
