Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Use schematics to determine which devices are on the K9 Body Control Module's ignition circuit terminal 12 X4 or controlled by the KR76 Retained Accessory Power Relay. Use the connector end view to identify the ignition circuit terminal for each of those devices.

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the appropriate devices controlled by the KR76 Retained Accessory Power Relay turn ON and OFF when commanding the Accessory/Retained Accessory Power Relay On and Off with a scan tool.
    • If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Diagnostic A

    • If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  3. Verify that the appropriate devices controlled by the K9 Body Control Module's circuit terminal 12 X4 turn ON and OFF when commanding the Accessory/Retained Accessory Power Relay On and Off with a scan tool.
    • If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Diagnostic B.

    • If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  4. All OK.
