Preliminary Procedure

Remove the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
Drain the rear axle from oil. Refer to Differential Oil Replacement .

Differential Seal

Procedure

Using DT-49231 remover , tighten the puller bolts properly before removing the seal.
Using DT-869-4 installer , install the differential seal.
Fill the rear axle to the proper level with new fluid. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
