WARNING: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning . WARNING: Refer to Brake Dust Warning . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1	Brake Pipe Fitting CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination. Tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
2	Brake Hose Retainer
3	Brake Hose Fitting Bolt Tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
4	Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (Qty:2) Procedure Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.
5	Rear Brake Hose Procedure Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) .
