Front End Upper Tie Bar Support Replacement (Acadia, Enclave, Traverse)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Reposition the inflatable restraint front end sensor. Refer to Airbag Front End Sensor Replacement .
3. Reposition the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
4. Reposition the power brake booster auxiliary pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Auxiliary Pump Replacement .
5. Reposition the suction hose. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement .
6. Reposition the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement .
7. Reposition the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
8. Remove the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (Acadia) .
9. Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Traverse) , Headlamp Replacement (Acadia) , Headlamp Replacement (Enclave) .
10. Remove the hood primary and secondary latch. Refer to Hood Latch Support Replacement (Acadia, Enclave, Traverse) .

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors/harnesses as needed.
2. Transfer any parts as needed.
