Procedure Support the rear compartment lid in the fully up position. Use the J 41358-A in order to disconnect the torque rod from the rear compartment lid hinge. Procedure

Support the rear compartment lid in the fully up position.
Use the J 41358-A in order to disconnect the torque rod from the rear compartment lid hinge.
Ensure the torque rod is properly positioned across the vehicle at the pivot points.
Adjust the rear compartment lid hinge torque rod. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Torque Rod Adjustment .
