WARNING: Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from causing physical injury. Preliminary Procedures Open both side doors in order to assist in the removal process of the lower front rocker panel molding. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the three rivets from the front lower wheelhouse panel. Remove the front and rear side door lower weatherstrip. Refer to Front or Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement (Traverse) .
1	Wheelhouse Liner Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Rivet (Qty: 3) WARNING: Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from causing physical injury. Procedure Use a suitable sharp twist drill and remove the three rivets.
3	Retainer Lower (Qty: 7) Procedure Use a suitable type trim tool in order to disengage the retainers from the quarter outer lower panel.
4	Retainer Upper (Qty: 12) Procedure Use a suitable type trim tool in order to disengage the retainers from the quarter outer upper panel.
5	Rocker Panel Front Molding Procedure Detach and remove the rocker panel front molding from the rocker panel rear molding.
