Installation Procedure

  1. If necessary, position the engine mount strut bracket (engine side) to the cylinder head.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. If necessary, install the engine mount strut bracket bolts (engine side).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

  3. Install the heater pipe bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  4. If necessary, position the engine mount strut bracket (body side) to the vehicle.
  5. If necessary, install the engine mount strut bracket bolts (body side).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

  6. Install the engine mount strut (2).
  7. Install the rear engine mount strut bolt (4) and nut (5).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

  8. Install the forward engine mount strut bolt (3) and nut (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).
