Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON, observe the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information with a scan tool. Verify there are no communication DTCs set.
- If there are communication DTCs set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
- Engine idling, observe the scan tool DTC information. DTC P0318 should not set.
- If DTC P0318 sets, refer to Diagnostic Starting Point - Antilock Brake System for further diagnosis.
- Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that are captured in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records Data List.
