Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine idling at normal operating temperature. Observe the scan tool HO2S 2 voltage parameter. Cycle the throttle from idle to wide open throttle (WOT) 3 times within 5 seconds. Verify the HO2S 2 voltage parameter goes above, or below 350-550 mV.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that are captured in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records Data List.
