Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid to the bracket.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying EVAP Canister Purge Tube

  2. Connect the EVAP canister purge tube to the solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Connect the EVAP line (2) to the purge solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge solenoid electrical connector (1).
  5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
