Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the valve rocker arm cover. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Left Side  and/or Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Right Side .
    2. IMPORTANT: Place the valve rocker arm, pushrod, and pivot support, in a rack so that the can be installed in the same location from which they were removed.
  2. Remove the valve rocker arm bolt.
  3. Remove the valve rocker arm.

  4. Remove the valve rocker arm pivot support.

  5. Remove the pushrod.
  6. Clean and inspect the valve rocker arm and pushrod. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Cleaning and Inspection .
