Installation Procedure

  1. Position the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide to the oil pump.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  3. Install the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement .
