Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the engine mount upper nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the engine mount upper nuts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

Install the engine mount bracket with the engine mount to the oil pan.
Install all the engine mount bracket bolts (1, 2). Hand tighten only.
Install the engine mount bracket bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
Use the utility stand in order to lower the engine.

Install the engine mount lower nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the engine mount lower nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).
Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
Install the right front wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
Connect the three-way catalytic converter pipe to the engine right side exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
Lower the vehicle.
Install the engine mount struts. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side and Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LY7) .
