Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation

  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the thermostat housing.
    2. Fig 2: View Of Thermostat Housing & Bolts

  2. Install the thermostat housing.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install a NEW gasket and O-ring onto the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.

  5. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.
  6. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
