Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the left lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
3. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the antenna cable.




4. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (Radio Replacement).
5. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna extension cable.

Installation Procedure




1. Route the antenna extension cable. Secure the cable.
2. Connect the antenna extension cable to the radio. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (Radio Replacement).




3. Connect the antenna extension cable from the radio to the antenna cable.
4. Install the left lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Install the left I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
