Oil Pan Removal

  1. Rotate the engine so that the oil pan is facing up.
  2. Remove the oil pan drain plug.

  3. Remove the oil pan bolts.

  4. Remove the oil pan from the lower crankcase oil distribution manifold plate.

  5. Remove and discard the oil pan gasket.

  6. Remove the oil level sensor (1).
