Removal Procedure

  1. Apply masking tape to the door edges.
  2. Open the rear door.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  4. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  5. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
  6. Remove the front of the rear door frame applique and the rear. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
  7. Remove the rear door outer sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
  8. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
  9. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door .
  10. Remove the rear door outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
  11. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
  12. Remove the rear door window channel retainer. Refer to Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door .
  13. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .
  14. Remove the rear door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
  15. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness.
  16. Remove the rear door electrical harness from the door.
  17. Support the rear door.

  18. Remove the rear door top intermediate bolt from the door side hinge.
  19. Remove the rear door lower hinge bolts from the door side (1).
  20. Remove the rear door from the vehicle.
