Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the garnish molding from the right windshield pillar. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
  2. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the antenna base lead.
  4. Remove the body mobile telephone antenna cable from the inner roof panel and the windshield pillar.

  5. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  6. Remove the passenger lower pillar trim. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar in Interior Trim.
  7. Pull back the carpet for access.
  8. Disconnect the body antenna cable from the I/P mobile telephone antenna cable.
  9. Remove the antenna cable.
