Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: The latch or cable is not serviceable separately. It must be replaced as an assembly.
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Remove the rear door lock from the door. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door .
  4. Remove the lock and cable through the opening in the inner door panel.
