Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the door window to the full up position.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Inside Door Handle Cable

    IMPORTANT: The latch or cable is not serviceable separately. It must be replaced as an assembly.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  4. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  5. Remove the lock and cable through the opening in the inner door panel.
