Heater Pipes Replacement

Heater Pipes Replacement

Callout Component Name
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26) in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove heater hoses from heater pipe assembly. Refer to Heater Hose Replacement - Inlet (L26)  and Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet (L26) .
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
3 Bolt, Heater Pipe Assembly (Qty: 2)

Tighten:  16 N.m (12 lb ft)
4 Pipe, Heater Assembly
5 Gasket, Heater Pipe Assembly
6 O-ring, Heater Pipe Assembly
