Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Buick LaCrosse and 2005 Buick Allure. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Removing A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the refrigerant pressure sensor to the liquid line.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensor to 4.7 N.m (41 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.8L.
