Removal Procedure

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26) .
  2. Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Front Fender Upper Diagonal in Body Front End.
  3. Use the J 38185  in order to reposition the hose clamp from the radiator.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.

  5. Use the J 38185  in order to reposition the hose clamp from the water outlet housing.
  6. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water outlet housing and the vehicle.
