The remote vehicle start (RVS) will not operate under the following conditions:

The hazard switch in the ON position.
A hazard switch DTC is set.
The vehicle hood is open.
A hood ajar switch DTC is set.
An automatic transmission shift lock control system DTC is set.
The ignition key is in the ignition.
A vehicle speed signal is detected by the engine control module (ECM) / powertrain control module (PCM).
A vehicle DTC that illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
