Installation Procedure

Apply prelube to the oil pump drive gear. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives and Lubricants for the 3.9L engine.

Install the oil pump drive.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the oil pump drive bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 36 Nm (27 lb ft).
Install lower intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement - Lower .
