Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Oil Drain Plug

  2. Remove the oil pan drain plug
  3. Drain the crankcase.
  4. Reinstall the oil pan drain plug.

  5. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the engine oil level sensor bolt and sensor
