Installation Procedure

Position the engine mount strut bracket to the engine.
Install the upper engine mount strut bracket bolt.
Raise the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Position and install the A/C compressor onto the stud.
Install the A/C compressor rear bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Install the A/C compressor front bolt and nut.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt/nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
Install right front engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine .
Remove the radiator air baffle. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE ASSEMBLIES AND DEFLECTORS .

Install the engine harness clip (1) to the engine mount strut bracket.

Rotate the engine mount strut into position.
Install and tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (4) and nut (5).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N.m (36 lb ft).
Install intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
