Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the washer solvent container. Refer to WASHER SOLVENT CONTAINER REPLACEMENT .

  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the camshaft position actuator magnet.

  4. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.
  5. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet and O-ring seal.
