Installation Procedure

  1. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet O-ring seal and magnet.
    2. IMPORTANT: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.

    Tighten:   Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the camshaft position actuator magnet.
  4. Install the washer solvent container. Refer to WASHER SOLVENT CONTAINER REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
