Test Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2006 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2006 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 3: HI values for all signals in all ranges indicates the ground circuit is OPEN.
- 4: With the 20-way connector disconnected, all signals should indicate HI.
- 6: If one circuit affects the other, this indicates a short between the two circuits.
- 13: This step tests the internal transmission harness. If no fault is found in the harness, the fault will be in the switch.
DTC P1825 (3.5L)
| Step | Action | Value(s) | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? | - | Go to Step 2 | Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle |
