Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the defroster door. Refer to Defroster Door Replacement .
  2. Remove the air distribution case cover bolts/screws (1).
  3. Remove the air distribution case cover.

  4. Remove the mode actuator bolts/screws (1).
  5. Remove the mode actuator (2).
  6. Remove the mode actuator lever cover bolts/screws (3).
  7. Remove the mode actuator lever cover (4).
  8. Remove the mode actuator cam (5).
  9. Remove the mode actuator levers (6, 7 and 8).
  10. Remove the mode door (9).
