Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
    2. IMPORTANT: Immediately cap or tape the open A/C compressor opening immediately in order to prevent system contamination.
  2. Remove the high pressure relief valve (1).
  3. Remove and discard the O-ring seal (2).
  4. Cap or tape the pressure relief valve port.
